IT'S ME
i'm the grower it's me.
I’m the spirited force behind our private and flourishing flower farm in Rural Saanich on Vancouver Island. What started out as a humble hobby has blossomed into a fulfilling passion for cultivating prolific tubers, stunning cut dahlia bouquets and dried Fall Harvest Wreaths. Inspired by my neighbours spontaneous loan of books, I immersed myself in the colorful realm of dahlias reading every book I could get my hands on. A membership to the Victoria Dahlia Club soon followed which provided me with valuable knowledge from experienced growers, further pursuing education becoming a Candidate and now an Accredited Judge for competitions. With my Bachelor of Science from a million moons ago, I absolutely love diving into the study of nature and discovering all the amazing secrets of growing these clever flowers. I passionately grow on one of our seven acres for summer cutting flowers, local ADS Dahlia competitions and offer the tubers for Dahlia lovers Canada wide. I enjoy the rhythm of labour, the patience of growing and the daily feelings of movement and accomplishment. Along with my handsome & heavy lifting husband, together we have developed our city acreage into a cultivated and calm space for family play and beauty.

Havenley Farm had another successful year as an American Dahlia Society accredited judge and third year show competitor.
Representing the farm, I grew and nurtured several ADS classified blooms and achieved fantastic results with two head table winners earning Best in Show, whooop!
